Mollie Callanan is a native of a small town south of Buffalo, New York. She grew up alpine ski racing and continued into college. In 1988, she received her Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences from Buffalo State College. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 1995.
She relocated to Phoenix in 1996 and has been providing Physical Therapy services for 28 years. Her experience is in a variety of rehabilitation settings, primarily focusing on Orthopedic Sports Medicine, post-surgical spine neck and back, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, as well as sports injuries. She is certified in dry needling, IASTM and cupping.
Mollie is passionate about customizing programs individualized to each patient to help them achieve their specific goals. She places an emphasis on Functional Medicine using manual therapy and body mechanics training to restore normalization of joint movement with specialized core, hip, and shoulder stabilization exercises and correction of dysfunctional neuromuscular patterns.
Mollie has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle. When she isn’t working with her patients, Mollie enjoys spending time with her family and her twin daughters. She also enjoys weight training, Pilates, yoga, hiking, traveling, live music, and spending time in nature. Her favorite place in the world is Rome.
