She took the time to listen to all concerns, made sure to hear directly from them, and proShow morevided helpful advice. The minute they walked out the door my kids started planning what specific healthy foods they wanted to eat more of and how they would eat 5 different fruits & vegetables per day. My daughter has had some serious concerns and she really felt heard. Thank you, Bella!

With over 20 years of experience, Mohammad Al-Harastani, MD, FAAP, offers his patients unmatched expertise. Dr. Al-Harastani is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. At Lapeer Pediatrics in Lapeer and Flint, Michigan, he works tirelessly to help his young patients reach their full potential.
Dr. Al-Harastani attended medical school at Damascus University–Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He later completed his residency through the graduate medical program of Seton Hall University at St Joseph's Children's Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.
Dr. Al-Harastani provided medical care to a diverse group of patients throughout Michigan. He practiced at McLaren Lapeer Region and Great Lakes Urgent Care Group in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Dr. Al-Harastani also worked at McLaren Lapeer Region Community Medical Center for more than 10 years.
During each stage of his career, Dr. Al-Harastani retained his passion for family and community medicine. He remained committed to helping children thrive and supporting growing families. To further this goal, Dr. Al-Harastani established the Lapeer Pediatrics practice in 2007 and added the Grand Blanc/Flint location in 2024 . He also serves as an Assistant Professor and enjoys teaching medical students from Michigan State University, and physician assistants from University of Detroit Mercy.

From intake to speaking with the PA and then finally the doctor the overall experience was pleasant. Mainly the bed side manner of the PA and Dr. Harastani was 5 star white glove treatment. They really listened to everything that was going on and asked many followup questions to understand the full picture. Thank you I certainly found the right doctors foy my kids.

I love Dr Harastani (the Father). I love his energy and personality and is great with kids, casually so. Everything he says or suggests I agree with, without a doubt. I trust my son in his care and love his approach. He has an endearing bed side manner that I have yet to come by that includes his wisdom, knowledge and obvious experience, though mostly unspoken. I don’t find many doctors that are on the same page with what I know for certain nor on a personal level. And I appreciate all that I’ve mentioned, tremendously. I would love to pick his brain or just have a normal conversation with him, too. (Im a Mom of a rambunctious boy who is also very chatty, who thinks he has his own little person rights and strongly emphasizes and insists on his “diplomatic approach”, L*rd help is all, that lil guy must be heard). Thank you!

I found this place on google when I had my 2nd child back in April this year, they are very thorough and answer any questions you have with actual answers and not just generic textbook responses. I love the Dad and son they both are very knowledgeable. The ladies in the office are always nice as well! I now bring both of my kids here.
Dr. Hannah is Amazing! My boys love her. She has a very kind personality, very loving and soft. This is very important to us, we've spent alot of time in surgeries so when I mention a doctor appointment, my younger 2 get very nervous. I highly, highly recommend her!
