Dr. Min Lu, a graduate of an accredited acupuncture program, is currently licensed to practice as an Acupuncturist in the State of Maryland. With traditional Chinese medicine family background, she started to became serious in studying and practicing Chinese medicine during the 2008 Olympic games when she saw the urgent need to relieve physical pain from sports activities, not only for the athletes but also for people in general. With many years of acupuncture experience both in China and in the US, Min Lu has obtained good knowledge of the history and development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the knowledge of theoretical concepts necessary to the practice of acupuncture, including Yin/Yang, five elements, fundamental body substances such as Jing, Qi, and Shen, in additional to the knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology, basic pathology related to the acupuncture. Dr. Lu is learning from Prof Biqin Wang (famous TCM gynaecologist in Beijing, China)，and now is the member of Prof. Guo Zhiqiang's National Inheritance Studio focusing on infertility, ovarian dysfunction, polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disease, menopausal syndrome, pelvic inflammatory disease, vulva leukoplakia and other gynecological diseases treatment and postnatal care, etc;
With formal training in acupuncture and the completion of a professional educational program in a clinical health care specialty in the USA, she also has current CPR Certification and CNT license certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Very professional and comfortable
Work has been crazy busy. But definitely needed to make an appointment as my lower back aches often. Went in today for a massage and acupuncture. Left feeling like a new woman. Highly recommend their services.

I was experiencing extreme lower back pain and couldn't stand straight. I was able to get in to see Dr. Lu the day before Thanksgiving. I had never tried acupuncture however, I was pretty much bed ridden in the hospital 5 days prior and given LOTS of pain medication which I am against, so I came to her to see what she suggested. She performed acupuncture in the troubled area for about 10 minutes. When finished asked me to stand and how I felt. I wanted to cry! The pain was gone and instantly I felt relieved. I went on a 3 mile walk that day and felt like my self again. I have continued to get treatments of massage, acupuncture and cupping when I start to feel tense or tight and absolutely LOVE Dr. Lu and her associate.
Dr. Lu and her staff are miracle workers. They are extremely patient and thoughtful in their care and got me from pain to relief in just two sessions.
Dr Lu is very caring and took the time to listen to my comers and discuss what can be done. The office is clean and staff are all very friendly
