Dr. Millicent Mbua holds dual board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. Graduated from University of Washington with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in family later completed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program from the University of New Hampshire. I started out my career in Family Practice in 2016. I provide care to patients of all ages, from newborn to the elderly, and from all walks of life. I enjoy the connection with families and getting to interact with patients beyond their illnesses. Becoming certified as a psychiatric mental health provider was a greater blessing since I am able to meet a greater need in the population I serve while expanding my horizons to provide exclusive mental health services. I strive to provide holistic patient-centered care, as well as walking along side clients while empowering them to assume control over their mental health well-being.

Millicent is an amazing provider. I’ve struggled with mental health issues for years been misdiagnosed many times; she was extremely non judgmental and listened to me and properly diagnosed me. I have not felt this “normal” and at peace with my life ever. I’m beyond grateful for her help.

Millicent is amazing, I went to her as I was having problems with extreme anxiety and depression, which I have now learned I have ADHD. She helped fine tune those medication needs and was always right there for me If I had any issues and helped resolve them immediately, my current main doctor does not provide that kind of service so I’m glad I found Millicent to help with the ability to function on a day to day basis.
