Michael Noonan, MD, is board-certified in both pediatric and general dermatology. He treats patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby, Trumbull, and Westport, Connecticut.
Dr. Noonan graduated from Williams College magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Yale University Hospital with a concentration in pediatrics. Dr. Noonan completed his dermatology residency at George Washington University School of Medicine.
He is on-staff at Bridgeport Hospital and a clinical dermatology instructor at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Noonan has published articles and has been a guest lecturer. As a father of four, Dr. Noonan understands parents' concerns about their children's skin, especially when conditions such as rashes, eczema, warts, and acne flare up. Dr. Noonan treats adults and children with these conditions. He also treats moles and skin cancers.
At the practice, Dr. Noonan and the team see patients on an emergency basis, even on days when the office is busy.

Dr Noonan is kind , excellent dermatologist. The nurse, Amber, that was in the room was extremely knowledgeable . I will be returning in March to have Amber do a facial on me. Dr. Noonan always makes me feel comfortable & has a wonderful personality , it's obvious he is very dedicated to his patients & his work.

Dr. Noonan spends time with the patient. He is cautious about future skin/cancer occurrences. The office staff is very efficient and the practice flows smoothly. Both my husband and myself have been patients for many years and will continue to see Dr. Noonan for years to come.

I arrived for my appointment early, paid my copay and shortly after was called and escorted to an exam room. An assistant took some history and a short time later Dr. Noonan came in. He examined me, treated a number of spots on my body. We wished each other Merry Christmas, he left. The assistant made my next appointment for me in June. It was as pleasant of an office visit as could be. I think the entire office behaves very professionally but with a most friendly attitude.

I was well entertained while receiving expert skin care. Have know Dr Noonan going back to 1994, he was a little more mellow as a youngster. I like the older version now, but it is always is a privilege to be seen by him!!
Dr Noonan always has a positive disposition and attentiveness to my concerns. If he feels that a specialist is needed, he will recommend and refer immediately, then I notice he reviews those doctor’s notes and incorporates that into our discussion in our next visit. Having had a lot of sun exposure in my youth for a decade, I do feel assured that he’s monitoring my skin carefully and thoroughly.
