Michael is super cool. I know "cool" isn't the top quality on most people's wishlist for a provider, but maybe it should be more of a factor. He's quick witted, easy to talk to, perceptive, and gets right to the point. He easily parsed my information and didn't have any trouble formulating a plan. He heard my needs and got right into problem-solving-mode without the hand wringing I've witnessed in other practices. When combined with skill and smarts, I think "cool" is awesome. Thanks, Michael
Caring, listens to you and makes sure you are comfortable with any medication changes if needed. Highly skilled in his field regarding neurodivergence and mental health of course!! He better not ever leave the practice lol

The $200 charge for failure to cancel with proper notice is a huge problem. It appears to be non-negotiable, and it seems to me there should be some leeway for who engage in good faith and may have a very important reason for cancelling. The contract states that clients have to be on time every time (5 minutes leeway is not helping) I just can't state that I will be on time every time. It is important for providers to get paid but weigh that against my need to put food on the table.
Thank you for taking the time to truly listen and spending the time to find the right medication and dose for me. A lot of medical providers rush so I feel pressured to hurry. Not here! Knowing you listen and want to hear how things are going shows you honestly care about your patients. It’s helped reduce my anxiety and gives me hope for what is possible! Although I’ve only been a patient less than a month, I know I have the right provider and advocate. I sincerely appreciate you!
Mike has an incredible way of incorporating humor, medical knowledge & expertise, and humanism into our virtual visits. I went through an online provider before and felt rushed. Dr Grimes was patient, explained stuff thoroughly and took the time to allow me to ask questions and offer solutions and recommendations. My intent was to interview him but I quickly knew he was the advocate for me. I’m super thankful even hours after our first meeting!
I love seeing Mike. He is totally nonjudgmental - I can tell him anything - and super knowledgeable. I am a physician and I'm happy to trust him with my care. I've recommended him to some of my colleagues, too, and they also think he's great. Very happy. Highly recommend.
