About Dr. Michael Gotcher, CNS, ARNP

For as long as I can remember, I have had a desire to help people. In high school, I became a nurse’s aide working in nursing homes and hospitals. After high school, I entered nursing school to become better equipped to handle more serious health conditions. Nursing afforded me the opportunity to work in the ER, hospital wards and surgery, but I still felt people needed more. I went on to become a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist thus allowing me to diagnose and treat patients. I have since worked in the ER, an integrative medicine clinic and urgent care. I started to realize that for me to fully help my patients, I needed more training to help them heal rather than just applying a Band-Aid to their medical problems. For this reason, I earned a Doctorate in Functional Medicine and PhDs in Natural Medicine and Nutritional Sciences. The experiences and training I’ve received allows me to help people have a more fulfilling and satisfying overall health experience.
