Melissa Taylor-Giorlando, MD, FACOG is a Connecticut native, having grown up in Easton and Trumbull. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University.
She graduated from the Yale School of Medicine in 2017. During medical school, she received an award recognizing excellence in Ob/Gyn and outstanding biomedical research. She completed her residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was drawn to Obstetrics and Gynecology due to its wide breadth and opportunity for a close personal connection with her patients. Only complaint was that my appointment was scheduled for 4:15, i arrived a few minutes early as asked to do for paperwork and then waited in the waiting room until 4:35, and again in the exam room and was not seen until 5:15. I was on a bit of a time constraint and luckily it worked out. Other than that Dr, Meulenberg was quick with the appointment which was appreciated.

This was the second time I saw Dr. Muelenberg for my annual exam, both times because my regular doctor was out on disability. Dr. Muelenberg was friendly, warm and efficient. She's had to take on a lot of patients due to the absence of my regular doctor. However, she didn't seem too under the gun to move on to the next patient due to her patient load. I appreciated that.
The doctor was courteous, personable and took time to discuss my postpartum issues. The wait was reasonable.
She is very profesional.
Dr. Szeto has been offering quality service as my OB/GYN for about 20 years. She is professional, yet warm, listens well and responds to each concern with in a thorough and unhurried manner.
