I am so happy I made the decision to change to a concierge/direct access primary care practice with Dr. Slack. I now receive exceptional care which is something I haven’t had since the days of Dr. Julie Tinney! Dr. Slack is very tShow morehorough and the appointments are never rushed where in a large medical facility, I felt like a number to a doctor who barely knew me. Melissa, her office manager, is wonderful, very helpful, and very attentive.
This was my first day visiting Slack Family Practice. The atmosphere there is very welcoming and Dr. Slack and her staff were very attentive and easy to talk to. Dr. Slack makes the time to spend time with me each visit. She listens, offers suggestions and really cares for her patients. Her staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. (so rare these days in patient care)
This was my first day visiting Slack Family Practice. The atmosphere there is very welcoming and Dr. Slack and her staff were very attentive and easy to talk to. Absolutely the BEST practice ever! I have never walked into a Doctors office and felt so welcome. When the Doctor comes out to greet you, you have to know that your in the right place!! Slack Family Practice is Number 1. Such a caring and professional practice.

My first visit to the office was great. The nicely decorated office is easy to find with parking right out front. There was no "wait time" to be seen. I did not feel rushed during the visit.

It's quite apparent that Dr. Slack feels it's important to know her patients and spends the appropriate amount of time to do so. So refreshing after experiencing the all too common quick in and out 10 minute visits which have become the norm elsewhere.
I'm so glad I found Dr. Slack! I've been looking for a Direct Primary Care (DPC) doc near me for years. Her office is beautiful and her staff are the best of the best. Can't remind Dr. Slack and her practice more if I tried.

Dr. Slack delivers excellent care in a relaxed atmosphere. My appointment started at the scheduled time, no waiting! I did not feel rushed in or out of the office. Dr. Slack took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. My care was professional and personal; I was not just a number. I highly recommend Dr. Slack!
The office and staff are amazing. Prompt care and attention to what I need. Dr. Slack and Missy really make you feel comfortable and respond so quickly and get you in right away as schedules permit. SO much better than dealing with the big guns/Medstar etc....
I moved with Dr Slack from Medstar because I could never get an appointment there or speak to a living person. I love Dr Slack's personal attention and the way she speaks to me. Her office is bright. her assistant helpful. Dr Slack is the way medicine should be.

I really can’t say enough about Dr Slack and Melissa. They make you feel so comfortable and relaxed, in no way do you feel rushed during your visit. Dr. Slack answers questions, and takes her time with to you! I’ve been seeing Dr Slack for several years and I don’t need to go anywhere else!!!
This was my first visit with Dr. Slack since she opened her practice. I liked her when she was with a large conglomerate practice; I love her now that she has her own practice. She has more time to listen to my concerns and I never felt rushed.

Dr. Slack was my primary care physician at MedStar and I decided to follow her when she established her private practice. During my initial visit we spent considerable time discussing my overall health, lifestyle, diet and activity level. She answered my questions about medications, inoculations and the pros and cons of various supplements. The second half of my appointment consisted of a thorough medical examination. She is an excellent doctor, and I highly recommend her.
