About Meghan Dolan, PA-C

Meghan Dolan, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Colon and Rectal Surgeons of Greater Hartford, serving the communities of Bloomfield and South Windsor, Connecticut. Bringing more than 14 years of experience to the team, Meghan has extensive experience with and training for caring for both surgical and non-surgical patients, providing diagnostic and therapeutic care. 

Meghan graduated from St. Francis University in Pennsylvania with both her bachelor’s degree in medical sciences and master’s degree of physician assistant sciences. Following graduation, she spent 3 years with UPMC working as an inpatient and outpatient general surgical PA providing care for a rural community. Following that, she spent over 10 years working at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. She worked in several specialties including bariatric, general surgery, robotics, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery and several other specialties. She soon found a love for caring for colorectal patients and has spent the last several years spent most of her time caring for these patients and educating surgical residents and PA students how to best care for these patients. 

At Colon and Rectal Surgeons of Greater Hartford, Meghan has strived to use her past experiences in surgery and education she has received from the surgeons of the group to provide the best care she possibly can to both hospitalized and office patients. She provides care for a variety of colorectal patients including those who have acute or chronic conditions, who are postoperative, those who may need minor office procedures, and those needing wound and ostomy care assistance. She strives to make patients comfortable with seeking care for any of their colorectal issues.
