Maziar Ghodsian, D.O., J.D., F.A.O.C.Pr., F.C.L.M, is a renowned Proctologist serving patients in Beverly Hills and Huntington Beach, California, and the surrounding areas. Dr. Ghodsian is the only Board Certified Proctologist practicing in California who has completed a residency in Proctologic Surgery (Proctology). He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Proctology.
Dr. Ghodsian began his educational career at the University of California Riverside, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Philosophy. He then went on to earn his second Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
Pursuing his interest in the intersection of law and healthcare, Dr. Ghodsian earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Pace University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law and Policy. Dr. Ghodsian then earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. After completing medical school, he completed his internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California, and his residency in Proctologic Surgery at Ohio University/Grandview Hospital/Kettering Health Network.
Dr. Ghodsian has served as the past president of the American Osteopathic College of Proctology and is a member of the legislative committee of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California. Dr. Ghodsian has received numerous awards as a Proctologist including Castle & Connolly Top Doctors, Best of West Hollywood, California, Patient’s Choice Award, Top 10 Doctors in Proctologic Surgery Award, On Time Physicians Award, and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award.

he may be out of network but he is definitely worth the visit. I was treated very professionally and we went over my full medical history. He was the only doctor who could see me within 24 hours. every single other colon and rectal physician in the state of California has a 3 to 6 month wait to get an appointment... thank you very much Doctor Ghodsian
I had an appointment on August/21/24 with Dr. Maziar Ghodsian, I had a great experience with him, he was very professional, patient, and thorough. First person to actually take care of me after 6.5 years of other doctors telling me to keep doing the same thing and it will go away on its own. My quality of life has improved immensely since being treated by Dr. Ghodsian
