Board-certified physician Matthew Zarraga, DO specializes in cosmetic and general dermatology for men and women at Z-ROC Dermatology in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Specializing in cosmetic dermatology and fellowship-trained in cutaneous laser procedures and treatments, Dr. Zarraga improves and enhances the appearance of skin through injectable fillers and neuromodulators, sclerotherapy for varicose veins, and light therapies that target wrinkles, vascular lesions, dark spots, loose skin, and aging issues.
A graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Dr. Zarraga went on to earn his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha national medical honor society. He later interned at Palmetto General Hospital, where he was awarded the “Excellence in Service Award” for high-quality, compassionate care.
Dr. Zarraga spent a year at a laser research fellowship as a sub-investigator and clinical research coordinator for numerous clinical studies. His dermatological residency was spent at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where he was appointed chief resident.
Not only a physician, but also a published author, Dr. Zarraga has co-authored several articles in peer-reviewed, dermatological journals, such as Cutis, Cosmetic Dermatology, American Journal of Dermatopathology, and The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology. He also co-authored a chapter in a respected plastic surgery textbook.

Dr Zarraga has excellent bed side manor and was through in his complete examination.
The wait for the doctor did not take long at all. After 2-3 minutes in the room, the doctor thoroughly examined me and performed a procedure after a quick diagnosis. I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes of my arrival.
From the moment you walk in, the receptionist is pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Zarraga and his assistant Jacob were very profesional, respectful but most important they care about your reason for visiting.

Dr. Zarraga takes the time to listen and then assess, rather than just jumping in. He really knows his stuff. My most recent visit was for a totally disturbing rash. He figured out the source (allergy), quickly got me feeling much better and is now leading me through identifying the precise culprit. Excellent, caring, professional doctor. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
