10/10 experience with Dr. Dawson and his office! He truly redefines expectations of what an amazing surgeon / office is. First and foremost, Dr. Dawson is a very talented doctor - helping confirm I had an almost undetectable herniShow morea, coming up with a timeline for surgery that made sense, helping me understand my options for surgery, and successfully performing the operation (including being very mindful to give me as small a scar as possible, closing as a plastic surgeon would). His empathy and care are unmatched - he was incredibly kind and attentive pre-surgery and has carried that through post-surgery, checking in daily right afterwards to ensure I was recovering well and didn’t have any questions. He is also thorough but not an alarmist - helping me remain calm throughout the process. He has never rushed me out of the office, always giving me ample time to ask any questions I have. The office itself is immaculate and Jose and Kimberly helped ensure I had all of the necessary information for my appointments and surgery, including extreme transparency around costs and helping me navigate my insurance. They were both lovely to work with. I can’t imagine having a better experience than I’ve had with this office and cannot recommend them enough. Very grateful to have found Dr. Dawson!
I very highly recommend Dr. Dawson. My OB sent me to see him after delivering my second child as I had hernias. He considered very carefully my situation (not just medically but personally and professionally) and recommended very Show moresound medical advice. I eventually had my hernias repaired by Dr. Dawson and have been so impressed by him and the care I received. My surgery went flawlessly and I was really surprised how quickly I felt better. He is a very skilled surgeon. What sets him apart is his attention to you as a person and his communication skills. Many excellent surgeons are not exactly known for their bedside manner. He is very easy to communicate with and was reachable 24/7 after my surgery. He is also incredibly nice and a genuinely enjoyable person to know! He is really a gem.

Dr Dawson operated on my husband many years ago. At that time I was impressed by his professionalism, his warmth, and his gentleness with my elderly husband. I saved his name then and all these years later I find myself in need of his expertise. He has not changed and iota.

Dr. Dawson is a superb surgeon and is highly skilled in the latest surgical techniques. He is in a class by himself! Dr. Dawson takes his time to explain everything and goes the extra mile to address and solve issues that may arise relating to your surgery. I consulted 4 surgeons for my procedure and Dr. Dawson was light years ahead of everyone else. He is also very kind and helpful and put me at ease for the major procedure I was facing. I have already recommended him to a colleague who may need hernia surgery. If I could give Dr. Dawson 10 stars I would!
