Dr. Mark Zimmerman, I have been a patient for 30 years. He has helped me through some dark time in the past. He is a very good doctor, once you get to know him on a patient to doctor relationship. Don't expect that you will bShow moree cured on your first meeting. Dr Zimmerman is an expert in his field. Just be on time as he is aways on time. I have been a patient with Dr. Zimmerman from his previous practice since 2005 and chose to stay with him as he moved to South County. He is very helpful to my needs and always available when needed.
It is obvious that a generous amount of effort was put into how the program was designed. The providers are knowledgable and truly care about the wellbeing of the patient. I felt seen and understood. To be honest it's like talking to a friend. Everyday he calls me and we go over my day and go over a solution to make things better. Dr. Z gets right to the point, let's me talk away and above all he values our time together and listens. I been working with Dr. Z and his group for about a week, they listen, they care and they give me 100% attention. Thank you Dr.Z for your support and your daily concern I value our daily time together.
I have been in 3 different programs before this. I find this program something I would recommend. I was concerned about the virtual component but the staff utilizes this modality well. I have a sense that a lot of time and thought has gone into how this program is run. I like the set up and I think the process group is what makes the IOP stand out from the rest of the programs I have been in. I am very pleased with my 1:1 therapist and feel the team is working hard to help me.

I truly appreciated his candor and insight. He helped me crawl my way out of a really bad spot and start sorting through my triggers that were activating a paralyzing stress response. As someone who works in the behavioral health field, I have always hoped I would see a time when there is no stigma of seeking help with mental health. I can tell you there is more of a hesitation, when you are seeking help from people who may be colleagues at some point in your career.... Thank you Dr Zimmerman!
