I saw Dr Wolgin for the first time about needing surgery on my feet. He studied the x-rays and explained what would need to be done to correct the bones and Achilles tendon in both feet but also wanted an MRI. He explained the proShow mores and cons of surgery and was not pushy at all. He let you ask him the questions you wanted answered and seemed happy to answer them. So with all this being said I have found my surgeon . Thanks Dr. Wolgin for seeing me.
As always My experience was my Doctor there and his staff is exceptional. He takes the time to answer your questions and he doesn't try to pressure you enter things and his assistant Leanne. Deserves 5 stars of her own. She's verShow morey attentive to details and strives to make sure the patients get what they need. That's why I drive 4 and a 1/2 hours. For a doctor's appointment
Mark Wolgin, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery and spinal dysfunction treatments. Since 2006, he has served patients in the Albany, Georgia, area at Orthopaedic Associates.
A California native, Dr. Wolgin launched his medical career at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor’s degree followed by his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986. Six years later, Dr. Wolgin finished an orthopaedic surgery residency program at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Throughout his more than 30-year career as a doctor, Dr. Wolgin has completed two important fellowship programs: one for spinal surgery at the Institute for Spinal Disorders, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles and a second in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Wolgin is passionate about diagnosing orthopaedic problems and designing comprehensive treatment plans for his patients. He has training in a number of orthopaedic procedures, including minimally invasive surgical techniques that reduce tissue damage.
Dr. Wolgin prides himself not only on treating spinal dysfunction patients, but also on educating them about all aspects of their condition, diagnosis, and treatment plan, ensuring that they feel cared for and heard.
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Wolgin enjoys sports, especially playing basketball and skiing. He also plays the drums and loves to read.

Dr. Wogan ordered X-rays and applied a soft cast on my left hand that provided relief. Will check in to see how the healing is proceeding in 2 weeks. Very pleased with help received!

Dr. Wolgin listens to his patients and treats based on the symptoms. He explains what’s going on based on the X-ray and MRI reports! He explains all the options that are available for you and gives you the option to decide on the treatment regimen. He does not rush or try to force you on a particular treatment. Although he will give you the best treatment options for your situation!
