He specializes in podiatric medicine and surgery, performing advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Hopkins is originally from northwest Montana but feels right at home with his family in Olympia, Washington. He completed his bachelor of science in biology and minor in Russian language from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Ohio, and obtained his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio, in 2012.
Dr. Hopkins completed a comprehensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Alliance Hospital Program in Alliance/Akron-Canton, Ohio, and received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy, traumatic and diabetic wound care, and sports medicine.
Active in his field, Dr. Hopkins is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Washington State Medical Association, and American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Hopkins loves practicing medicine and spending time helping his patients. His goal is to give his patients the gift of pain-free optimal foot and ankle functioning and enhanced quality of life. Dr. Hopkins merges holistic and conventional medicine to yield the best possible results.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hopkins enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsey and his four wonderful children. His pastimes include outdoor activities, hiking, camping, and playing sports. His favorite sport is basketball.

My visit with Dr. Hopkins may have been the best interaction that I have ever had with a Doctor. The Doctor explained everything he was doing and why. I was told what my issue is, why I have this issue and how it can be treated. Dr. Hopkins explained everything in manor that anyone can understand. I have a game plan and I feel real good about my visit. Great friendly staff to boot!!! Definitely 5 stars!!!!

Dr. Hopkins gave me specific changes to make and now my ability to walk is improving each week. This follow up appointment helped me make small adjustments to my individual plan and stay on track.
I have been going there for over a year and I’ve had excellent care! I just recently had issues with neuropathy, and Dr. Hopkins sat and talk to me and also was able to get me medication to help with it. Highly recommend him for your provider.

Very knowledgeable and helpful . I had several different issues with my feet and he has helped correct all.
I learned so much about my toes and now understand more why they hurt me so much. My son and I were extremely impressed with all his knowledge and willingness to explain everything. I feel that I now have a place to go to for my toes or any other problem that should occur with my feet or ankles.
I went through website and scheduled initial appointment within minutes and for the following week. It was easy and website is informative. Upon arrival staff are friendly, office is clean and basically no wait. People asked questions that were needed, informed me of what they were doing and were open to questions. Everything was smooth and efficient. Dr. Hopkins explained clearly what was going on, what options there are currently and answered all questions. He provided information in writing after explaining exercises and why they are important. Dr. Hopkins was friendly, knowledgeable and I appreciate his easy going nature and most of all explanation that are understandable.
