About Dr. Marina Plon, MD

Marina Plon, MD, is a skilled and compassionate cardiologist at Advanced Heart Care Associates, which has two locations in Las Vegas, Nevada. She takes a preventive approach but can provide advanced cardiovascular diagnostic tests and treatments when necessary. 

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, Dr. Plon attended medical school at the Third Moscow Medical School. She completed a cardiology residency at Moscow’s Medical School Affiliated before moving to the United States for an internal medicine internship at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, affiliated with New York Medical College in New Rochelle, New York. She completed a cardiology residency there as well, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Plon has held numerous positions in cardiology. She is currently affiliated with Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada, as an adjunct clinical faculty supervisor. She is also actively on staff at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas and has affiliations with Henderson Hospital, Dignity Health St. Rose de Lima Hospital, and Dignity Health St. Rose Siena Hospital, all in Henderson, Nevada. 

At Advanced Heart Care Associates, Dr. Plon frequently uses her extensive knowledge and advanced resources to diagnose and treat high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias, heart attacks, and strokes. She educates patients on their diagnoses and offers individualized care according to their needs and concerns.
