About Ms. Maria Barakzai

Maria Barakzai is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician Associate at Temecula Valley Primary Care Physicians.

Maria grew up in Orange County. She attended University of California in Irvine where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. After a few years of working in the medical field as an EMT, she knew this career path of becoming a PA would allow her to help patients in underserved communities. She then obtained her Master’s degree as a Physician Associate from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA.

As always the office staff was efficient and friendly. Dani is amazing, doesn't rush you through and listens to you and discusses options. I highly recommend this office. Do not be put off by the over the top decorations.
