About Margaret Anne Anderson

Margaret Anne Anderson is a dedicated child and adolescent counselor with nearly 30 years of experience helping young people navigate life’s challenges. She understands that children need a safe space to express themselves, whether through conversation, play, or creative activities. Her compassionate approach allows children and teens to process emotions, build resilience, and develop essential life skills.

Margaret Anne earned her B.S. in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 1994 and her M.Ed. in School Counseling (K-12) in 1996. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with children at various developmental stages, specializing in emotional well-being, self-esteem, academic pressures, and future planning. She incorporates play therapy techniques, interactive discussions, and tailored strategies to help young individuals express their thoughts and feelings in ways that feel natural to them.

She is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children and adolescents feel heard, supported, and empowered. By fostering open communication and emotional growth, Margaret Anne helps young clients build confidence, cope with stress, and prepare for successful futures. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with her three children. Deeply connected to her community, Margaret Anne remains passionate about advocating for the well-being of children and providing them with the tools they need to thrive.
