After receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Dr. Borovoy completed his postgraduate training in podiatric surgery at Straith Memorial Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Borovoy served for 14 years as chief of the podiatry section at Providence Hospital in Southfield and was a past president of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Borovoy works with patients of all ages, from children to seniors, treating a wide variety of foot and ankle injuries and conditions, including plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas. He also specializes in the treatment of diabetic ulcers and neuropathy, fractures and dislocations, and tendonitis.
Board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Borovoy is also certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance Utilization Review Physicians. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Bone and Joint Surgery Center of Novi, and he was named one of Metro Detroit's "Best Doctors" by Hour Detroit Magazine for many years, a title determined by the votes of other physicians in the community.

Arrived a little before my appointment and was promptly processed and taken to exam room. Efficient exam, x-rays, and explanation of results. Report write up said pamphlet given to patient and explained orthotics, that didn’t happen, overall a good, informative visit

Dr. Al-Sawah is very knowledgeable and spent time explaining a couple of conditions that are present in my foot. He was able to relate how the conditions were “connected”. I am hoping I will get relief from a conservative approach and will not require surgery.
