Maggie Hilton is an experienced occupational therapist and hand therapist specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation for over 25 years. Originally from New York, she has spent most of her life in Florida, attending high school in the Orlando area before earning her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida in 1997. Her early career began in general rehabilitation, but she quickly pursued her passion for hand therapy, accepting a position in Port Charlotte before settling in Sarasota.
Maggie has extensive experience treating a variety of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, including fractures, traumatic injuries, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, repetitive strain injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in fabricating custom splints and utilizing adaptive equipment to improve patient outcomes. Maggie takes a holistic, individualized approach to patient care, believing that every patient requires a unique plan tailored to their specific goals and lifestyle. Her mission is to help restore independence and function, ensuring that treatment sessions are not only effective but also engaging and encouraging.
