Dr. Ghayas is a Psychiatrist with over 13 years of experience. She graduated from Dow Medical College in 2001 and completed her Psychiatry Residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City in 2010. Dr. Ghayas also completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 2011. Dr. Ghayas moved to Houston and established her private clinic in 2014. In her spare time, Dr. Ghayas enjoy spending time with her family.

I would of like to know ar check in that they were running 30 minutes behind on appointments. I had waited 20 mins when her appointment after me came in.
Joan is sincere, compassionate, and friendly. As a provider, she gets to know her patients and truly invests in their mental health and physical well-being. She will thoroughly explain what medication will work for you and why. Glad to be patient with Fulshear Medical.
I have been trying for several days to get a hold of someone to make an appointment. It is no longer possible to call and actually speak to someone and apparently they are no longer very good at calling people back. I scheduled a virtual appointment online through their website and was never called for the appointment. This has been a very disappointing experience which is not like how they used to be. I haven’t seen them in 8 months as I’ve just had a baby and this was not how they used to do business.

I’ve always loved the doctors and nurses, but there’s no hold system for their phones. You have to call 4 times and dial every single extension to get thru to anyone. I hate complaining, but I’m currently experiencing trouble with my own phone and calling them 8 times to dial each extension is getting more than mildly irritating.
I was very well taken care of, they make sure to handle all of my health concerns.
Welcoming and efficient
Both the PA and the doctor were so friendly, kind, understanding and professional. It felt so good to have my issues heard and taken seriously and the attention and care they put into their plan for me is wonderful.

This was my first time at the office and everyone was nice and professional. Dr. Abrar was very attentive to my concerns and provided good feedback. Also helps that they have a Quest Diagnostic upstairs for quick same day lab work.

I've had a good experience with Dr, Gayas PA. Shes very kind and considerate, but strait forward. I put 3 stars because of reception. They were ok just seem very scattered(probably working from home and doing things over the phone) and they weren't too considerate of the mental state I was/am in.
I was received by a very professional staff and the doctor was very helpful, professional and seemed to care, which is something you don’t see very often.
