About Lorna Foster, MD

Dr. Lorna Foster is a Board Certified General Pediatrician with over 24 years of experience in child healthcare. Raised in Miami, Florida, her Bahamian heritage and a strong family emphasis on education inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Foster earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Medical Degree from Michigan State niversity, followed by her Pediatric Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Health Systems. Throughout her career, she has worked in various clinical settings, including private practice and Federally Qualified Health Centers, where she has demonstrated a deep commitment to providing care to the medically underserved.

Dr. Foster is a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and has recently been ordained as a Deaconess Missionary at her church. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Foster enjoys raising her son, playing the piano, and looks forward to future travel adventures.
