At Prestige Healthcare OBGYN in Atlanta, Dr. Simmons works alongside his beloved wife, Charis Trench-Simmons, MD, and attentive staff members to provide high-caliber health care and aesthetic services for women in the surrounding communities.
Dr. Simmons completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama before obtaining his medical degree from the Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He returned to Atlanta to complete his residency in gynecology and obstetrics at the Morehouse School of Medicine as well as extensive high-risk training at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Active in his field, Dr. Simmons is always learning and remains a dedicated member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Some of his special interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and weight management.
To continuously meet and exceed patient expectations, Dr. Simmons stays up to date with the latest advances in obstetrical and gynecological medicine and technology. When he isn’t helping others to improve their health, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places to breathe fresh air and embrace a fresh perspective. Dr. Simmons is a driven voyager in travel and when providing health care. Even on the most laborious and complex healing journeys, Dr. Simmons walks step by step, guiding and assisting each individual as much as possible.
