About Londa Derouchey, MA CCC-SLP

Londa received an undergraduate degree in Communication Science/Disorders from NSU (1995), worked in the schools, received a Masters Degree in SLP from USD (2014), & returned to the school setting. When schools closed in March 2020 due to COVID, Key 2 Speech was created. Key 2 Speech is a private practice in Sturgis, SD, offering evidence-based speech & language therapy in the clinic or by telehealth to those with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism and other speech/language disorders. Our goal is to help clients in SD, ND and AZ communicate more effectively using their natural voice and/or alternative & augmentative communication (AAC) so they can build better relationships & improve their quality of life.

  • Londa is a four time ASHA recipient of the Award for Continuing Education (ACE). This recognizes the earning of seven ASHA CEUs which is equivalent to 70 contact hours in a thirty-six month period.
  • In Dec 2002, Londa joined an elite group of SLPs who are proficient in the use of Lingraphica technologies (speech generating devices) to optimize outcomes for people with communication impairments.
