Dr. Lisa Chism has achieved the very prestigious Doctorate of Nursing Practice. As the clinical director of the Oakland Macomb Breast Center at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. Lisa has over 25 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, specializing primarily in breast health. She is passionate about breast cancer detection and survivorship, with a special interest in menopause and sexual health.
Most recently, she served as clinical director of the Women’s Wellness Clinic at Karmanos Cancer Institute, where she cared for women’s comprehensive breast concerns, including elevated risk for breast cancer and breast cancer survivorship.
Lisa is also a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society and a certified sexuality counselor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. During her time at Karmanos Cancer Institute, she established a dedicated menopause and sexual health clinic caring for the menopausal and sexual health needs of women with a history of breast cancer or at elevated risk for breast cancer.
A fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Lisa was selected as Menopause Practitioner of the Year in 2011. In addition, she received the Karmanos Cancer Institute Heroes of Breast Cancer Compassionate Caregiver Award. In 2013, she received a Nightingale Award in the Distinguished Alumni category from Oakland University.
Lisa currently serves on the Board of Directors at the North American Menopause Society. Recently, she was appointed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to serve on a federal advisory committee with the CDC regarding breast cancer in young women. She also guest lectures around the country on breast, menopause, and sexual health and is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Lisa is an absolute joy to have in the office. She forms meaningful relationships quickly, and her unparalleled competence makes a tremendous impact. She is knowledgeable in so many aspects of women’s health and continues to grow her wide breadth of knowledge.
She enjoys spending time with family, especially on her farm in Hillsdale, Michigan. Lisa is accepting new patients at the Oakland Macomb Breast Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Dr. Kennedy is so understanding and allows the time the patient needs during the visit. She placed my 2nd IUD and it was a 100% better experience than with my 1st IUD placed by another physician.
Dr. Kennedy is wonderful. She explains everything and does not rush you. She has been my doctor for several years and I have never been disappointed. She is an extremely caring person and doctor.
Dr Kennedy is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She makes me feel heard and doesn't dismiss my concerns. You can easily see that she cares for her patients and makes them feel comfortable at all times during their exam.

I met Dr Ibrahim 2 almost 3 years ago, she delivered my first born. She is so profesional, caring, friendly and she will answer every question you have during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. She’s one of my favorite doctors at Oakland macomb obgy. She brings so much peace and great energy when you are around her. Definitely recommend her.
Dr Stark as well as all the other doctors at Oakland Macomb (Dr Kennedy, Dr Yoon, Dr Sapick, Dr Herringa, Dr Wallace, Dr Lee, Dr McBride and the rest of the amazing team) have all been so great at managing my pregnancy.
