Double board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management, Dr. Rispoli has a profound empathy for patients suffering severe or prolonged pain. She uses innovative, non-surgical interventions alongside evidence-based treatments to restore function and reduce or eliminate her patients’ pain. Her typical patient population includes patients with chronic or acute pain of the low back, neck, peripheral joints, pelvic region, and patients with headaches, but she is highly capable of treating pain of any sort.
Dr. Rispoli studied for her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was co-captain for the Division-1 women’s soccer team and, for four consecutive years, was a National Athletic Honor Society member. Dr. Rispoli earned her medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital’s Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Rispoli’s interest in the treatment of pain led her to complete an interventional pain medicine fellowship under the Weill Cornell Tri-Institute Pain Fellowship program in New York City, doing rotations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Rispoli specializes in advanced neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation) techniques, pelvic pain (both male and female), ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, and regenerative medicine techniques such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or stem cell therapy.

So far, excellent!!! Dr. Respoli and her office have gone above and beyond to see to it in taken care of. With a pending business trip a week away, she and her team are moving expeditiously to ensure my epidural is done prior to leaving. I love my experience and service thus far.

I think Dr.Leia Rispoli is great, knowledgeable, very caring person about my problem . She’s given me several Epidural over the last year and a half in my lower back, which considering my severe levels of pain on a daily basis, from a slip/fall accident. The epidural, physical therapy, acupuncture, and the chiropractor weren’t successful, but Dr.Rispoli didn’t give up on me, she recommended a Spinal Cord Stimulator to me that felt might help me, which I had the Trial Stimulator Surgical Procedure done on 8/8/24, it helped me and was a success for me with the constant daily pain that I was experiencing. Now I am a candidate for Dr. Rispoli in 2/weeks to place the Permanent Spinal Cord Stimulator in my lower back I would highly recommend Dr Leia Rispoli to all my friends, and acquaintances.
