About Lauren Perugini, APRN

Lauren Perugini, APRN, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Lauren received her bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. She then worked in the Surgical-Trauma ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital for 7 years before receiving her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmon’s University. Lauren is a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association and Connecticut Dermatology NP & PA Organization. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating autoimmune skin diseases with biologic therapies, as well as diagnosing and treating skin cancers, rashes, acne, and other dermatological conditions. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog named Frank.

Used the website to request an appointment. Received a call from a live person to set up an appointment. Received a confirmation email with the wrong time and location. Sent a reply to confirm that my appointment was at the time and location that was discussed on the phone call and not what was in the email. I was sent a confirmation that "yes" it was at the time and location discussed on the call. Got to the office for my appointment and they had no record of the appointment. They saw me anyways, and the doctor was great, as always. The website experience was horrible.
