About Dr. Lauren Hannah, LCSW

I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to share. My goal is to help my clients identify the root of their self-limiting beliefs and unwanted behaviors. I use interventions that assist in re-processing negative belief systems and replace them with more adaptive views. I understand the pressure that relationships and environment can create but truly believes that people can be empowered to build the skills necessary to navigate these obstacles in healthier ways. I believe all people can heal themselves and grow. My therapeutic approach combines theoretical and psychological insights with more pragmatic skills training (relaxation, conflict-resolution, and communication improvement) using a wellness approach to build upon existing strengths. I have a direct counseling style that combines empathetic listening with therapeutic challenges. I treat a variety of conditions, but specialize in the treatment of women experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression.
