Laura graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She then returned to Cal Poly to receive her Masters degree in Kinesiology in 2019 supporting herself working as a Physical Therapy Aide during this time.
Along her journey she discovered and developed a love for helping people in a new way by becoming a Physician Assistant. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2021. Upon completion, she decided to return to the Central Coast to practice.
She is fluent in French and in her free time, she enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, traveling, and going to the beach.

Dr Yassa is kind, knowledgeable and is always punctual. She gave me a cortisone injection that hit the spot and has left me nearly pain free for the past two months now

I have been having pain in my right knee, I appreciate that Jenna makes sure that I will get the best treatment available for my injury. Thank you
accident on only road to office; called and received a reply immediately, that my PA would wait for me even though I would be late. So important to me because this shot was 1 of 3, so all other appts would have to be changed, besides the healing process set back. Grateful for such an accommodation.
