Dr. Madigan began her professional pursuits at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. There, she received extensive training and developed special interests in preventive medicine and women’s health.
After obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Madigan completed residency training in the Family Practice Residency Program at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She excelled as a resident and subsequently joined the team at Thirlby Clinic, PLC.

I was very pleased with my same day appointment for my upper respiratory issues. Dr. Madigan was very thorough and attentive. I was impressed that she thought to provide me with a back-up plan for the upcoming weekend in case my condition did not improve by then.

My most recent visit was an annual exam. My 6th with Dr Madigan. Whether its routine, or a problem visit, Dr Madigan consistently listens, analyzes and provides well thought through solutions. If the solution requires a specialist, Dr Madigan's referrals have also provided excellent treatment. Keyword for Dr Madigan is TRUST. Followed closely by Intelligent compassion.

I’ve been with the same medical team in Grand Rapids since 1987, and have a complicated medical history. Needing to move north to be closer to my family meant finding a new physician in Traverse City. After meeting with several physician’s, I chose Dr Weichert, and I’m so grateful I did! He listens patiently, with an encouraging nature, and understands what I am ‘trying’ to explain. I am confident that I’m in excellent care, and trust in Dr Weicherts wisdom. His staff are equally as wonderful, insuring every patient feels well cared for and special. Thank you for putting your patients first.
I was having a problem that Dr Weichert connected to one of the medications I was taking and prescribed an alternative.
Was greeted and promptly shown to an exam room. Team was friendly and made me feel welcome. Looking forward to working with everyone in May, 2024
