About Kristina Gomes, PA

Kristina was raised in Sarasota, Florida and first got her interest in orthopedic surgery after completing an internship program with multiple local orthopedic surgeons through Riverview High School. She attended Florida State University and received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science while working as a physical therapy technician, she then received her Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant degree from Nova Southeastern University. She returned to Sarasota and was hired at 360 Orthopedics in 2015 and has been part of the team ever since.

Kristina is a member of PAOS (Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery) and FAPA (Florida Academy of Physician Assistants) and has 9 years of surgical and clinical experience in multiple orthopedic sub-specialties including joint replacement, sports medicine, spine and trauma. She works closely along side our physicians to treat patients in office, as well as acting as a surgical assist and completes hospital rounds while out of clinic. She prides herself in spending quality time with patients explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, and makes patient care her #1 priority.

Kristina lives in Sarasota with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. She has always competed in sports including soccer, track/field, tae kwon do and is now the weekend warrior. She enjoys traveling, baking, boating and snow-skiing with her family and friends. She is proud to continue to serve her hometown by volunteering for high school sports physicals with 360 Orthopedics.
