About Dr. Kristen Foehner

Dr. Kristen Foehner is a board-certified nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who has worked in mental health, community health, education, and hospital nursing for more than 15 years. She attended the University of Colorado, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Wisconsin, specializing in psychiatry and mental health. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, honor society of nursing. Kristen says: "I strive to provide patients with individualized pharmacological therapy that is balanced with a holistic approach to improving mental health and wellness. I seek to develop non-judgmental, therapeutic relationships with my patients using a “team-based” approach that empowers patients. Great listener; very observant to one's crisis/or struggles. Kristen was able to prioritize which issue to tackle first and created future sessions for best resolution to one's current situation.
