I received exceptional care today as always. The front desk welcomed me very warmly. Krista was very helpful in determining what my issues with my knee were. She ordered an xray, scheduled a follow-up visit with Dr. B to drain theShow more fluid from my knee and an injection to relieve the pain. I also had a surprise visit from Allison to say hello and check on my condition. The girls explained to me the step level care required by Aetna. Depending on the results I get from their care, I may need physical therapy and then an MRI. The office reminds me of the old Allstate commercials. "Your in good hands with Grace Inernal Medicine!"

Krista Furman is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing at the University of South Carolina. She has been with Grace since September 2023. Prior to joining Grace, she worked as an RN in the ambulatory setting for four years with Prisma Health.
Krista is originally from Syracuse, New York, where she was a teacher for 9 years before deciding to pursue nursing. She moved to Greenville six years ago with her husband, daughter, and 2 dogs to escape the snow and is thoroughly enjoying the weather here in South Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis and golf, baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Krista is focused on treating the patient as an active participant in their health care. She listens to her patients' concerns, beliefs, and wishes allowing them to help make healthy choices and determine their best path to wellness.

Ms. Furman was terrific taking a considerable amount of time with me with a thorough examination. Answering all questions with clarity that was also in lament terms. The ladies out front were very cordial. But most important, they accommodated me on very, very short notice. Love to all of you but hope not to see you "to soon".
