Koijan Kainth, MD, is an experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Kainth finished at the top of his class after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his medical degree from Penn State University in Centre County, Pennsylvania, and completed residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities and Penn State University. Dr. Kainth finished his training with a one-year orthopedic spine fellowship in Dallas, Texas.

So I guess it was seven years ago that my back issues started. I had one surgery to Repair three lumbar discs and six years later I was pinching nerves at all three levels. So Dr Kainth fused all three levels. It’s been one year. With the exception of being a little less flexible, I’m in better shape than I was eight years ago before I even knew I had back issues. Quite frankly, he gave me my life back. He’s very easy to talk to, I never felt rushed, and he does a great job of explaining what’s going on. The staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Yesterday I had my last appointment with them and was legitimately sad that I wasn’t gonna see them anymore but also elated that I didn’t need to see them anymore of course. If you have back issues, this is the place to be.

My experience was great because my back feels great after being in pain for six years. Now I’m having problems with my neck and I think he’s going to do a great job.

Dr. Kainth is awesome. He takes time and is very good about answering all my questions. His office staff are friendly and I never wait very long to be seen. I am sent down to get x-rays frequenly. The technicians are quick and I have never waited more than a few minutes.

Excellent bedside manner. Does not rush you he listens to you understands that you might be nervous at the time and bring your family with you. I would highly highly recommend him. He’s excellent what he does and he will put you at ease.
I had major surgery in early March and I’m doing excellent 9mon later. Dr. Kainth treats me like a human and he truly cares about his patients not the money. He listens and is truly concerned about my recovery. I’m so thankful for Dr. Kainth and his staff. Claudia is an angel as well. She worked with me and my HR department to get me cleared for light duty when I needed it. She always responded to my email or phone calls. They all care about their patients livelihood. They are THE BEST!
