About Kenneth A. Martin, MD
Kenneth A. Martin, MD, is a highly trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at the Little Rock, Arkansas, location of Martin Orthopedics.
He was a track and football athlete in high school and a scholarship player for the Arkansas Razorbacks football team. As a former track athlete and football player, Dr. Martin relates to his patients who play sports as he treats them for sports-related injuries to reduce pain and speed healing.
Dr. Martin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and his medical degree at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he finished an internship in general surgery and a residency program in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Martin is fellowship-trained in adult reconstructive surgery and total joint replacement. He worked in private practice in Pine Bluff before moving his practice to Little Rock in 1990. He has been on the clinical faculty of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock since 1984.
He maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. Dr. Martin is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He was selected as one of the Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors, Inc., and was highlighted as one of the Best Doctors in Arkansas by AY Magazine.

Checked in early and left within 45 minutes with a schedule for a knee replacement and a steroid shot in the knee. Great visit all around.

Dr. Martin and his PA listened to my concerns and issues with my knees. Dr. Martin is one of the best doctors in the state and although not time for my knee replacement was able to suggest rehab exercises to get me buy until that time. He is incredibly kind.

Wonderful experience
Even though going to an Orthopedic Surgeon is not my favorite thing to do on a Fri . . . If I have to go to one it will always be Dr. Kenneth Martin. Always a positive experience from reception to medical professionals to the doctor himself.

Very good discussion about my knees. Gave me brace to but on my knee done 10 years ago and knee cap died. Wouldn’t stay in place. Tried 2 different ones. Slide down to my ankle regardless of how tight I wrapped it. But will talk with Dr Martin again and maybe can do something else.

Every one there was energetic and kind and listened and responded appropriately. Four months after a knee replacement surgery, I was discharged and received positive feedback from everyone I saw. Dr. Martin is an outstanding surgeon. I highly recommend him.

From the check in to the check out, everyone is so nice and helpful. From the time I am called back to the room everything is explained, the procedure to the 6 week post op. And Dr Martin is so kind and explains all your options. I would highly recommend Martin Orthopedic for all orthopedic needs.
