About Kelly Fussell, FNP

West Texas patients can turn to My Urgent Care Clinic for all of their healthcare needs. This Abilene, Texas, practice is home to one of the area’s top nurse practitioners, Kelly Fussell, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-BC.

Kelly is an experienced family nurse practitioner with both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing. She is currently board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is licensed in the state of Texas.

After starting out her career in a local community hospital working as a cardiac nurse, Kelly went on to work in interventional radiology and specialize as a family nurse practitioner. Because of her experience working with serious and acute issues, Kelly can diagnose and treat minor to complex urgent health problems.  

While Kelly can treat children, adults, and elderly patients, her scope of practice is preventive care for patients of all ages. She focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of common chronic conditions. Kelly believes in building long-lasting relationships with her patients, where patients are involved in every step of their health care.

She’s known for spending time with each of her patients, taking time to listen and understand their needs and concerns. Kelly strives to ensure every patient experiences a positive healing approach to medicine.

When Kelly is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. They like to stay active outdoors, ride dirt bikes, and go on family boating trips.
