Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Kayla's journey in healthcare began with a bachelor's degree in Human Physiology from The University of Oregon. After working as a dermatology medical assistant for three years, Kayla decided to pursue her love for medicine further, earning her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada. She has received licensure from the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has gained exemplary knowledge working under Keren Weltman, MD, FAAD, at Thomas Dermatology, delivering exceptional service to her patients.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Kayla’s compassionate and personable demeanor helps her patients feel at ease and confident in their care. My appointment was at 830, I arrived at 8 as requested to fill out new patient paper work. They called me in by 820, and I was completely finished by 835. Fast, efficient, courteous , friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience, under the circumstances of my visit.
