About Kathy Martin, NP

Kathy Martin CRNP ( certified registered Nurse Practitioner) with a specialty in Family medicine.

A native of Birmingham, attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)  for her undergraduate and graduate degrees.

She has 37 years of compassionate nursing care with 22 of those years as a practicing  Nurse Practitioner.

Mrs. Martin was awarded for 2019 Alabama’s Outstanding Advanced Practice Nurse for the state. She  currently helps on the local level (CANPA)

Central Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association with the education committee, but has served as the Vice President for a number of years. She also belongs to her state and national association.

Patients know after seeing her, they have received compassionate and informative care. She takes the time to discuss in detail what events have taken place and symptoms that are occurring.

She has a strong  committed relationship with her Neurosurgeons, and speak to them daily about patient care.
