Dr. Wilson is dually certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP w/adol) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She has practiced in a regional endocrinology service with board certification in advanced diabetes management and graduate training in obesity management. She is a Diplomate with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine with specialty certification as a Lifestyle Medicine Professional. As a Clinical Professor in the Graduate Program at Florida State University, she teaches in the Lifestyle Medicine program. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) and a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Practice (FNAP).
Dr. Wilson considers herself a life-long learner. Working in chronic disease management has encouraged her to support her patients and professional colleagues in the science and implementation of health promotion and disease prevention through lifestyle medicine interventions to enjoy a life worth living.
