Dr. Gerbert joined the May-Grant Obstetrics & Gynecology team in 1988 as their first female physician. Trailblazing the path forward, she was influential in establishing nurse-midwives at the practice.
Dr. Gerbert graduated from Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia. She then continued at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati for an internship and residency. One of her main special interests is treating menopausal issues. Dr. Gerbert has hospital privileges at Lancaster General Hospital and Lancaster General Women and Babies Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, a diplomat at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and member of the International Society of Certified Bone Densitometrists.
When Dr. Gerbert isn’t in the office, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband, fellow May-Grant physician Bryan Yingling, and their two daughters.

She was very nice and informative.
This is a wonderful place to receive care. Throughout my pregnancy and postpartum care the doctors, midwives and nurses have been great to work with. Jennifer Pagani-Smith has a great positive attitude and is always attentive to my needs. She answers my questions and helps educate me with up to date information. I leave my appointments feeling confident and comfortable with the care that I’m receiving.

Dr. Frank Cardona is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

I had the best experience with Jen today. She has a warm, loving and calm demeanor that puts your mind at ease. I hope to have a natural birth with as little intervention as possible and she made me feel so confident and listened to when I showed her my birth plan. I went home feeling reassured that I chose the right practice.

Ms. Jackson is amazing. I have the worst anxiety going to my annual appointments and she always takes the time to help out my mind at ease and listens to my concerns. She is very genuine and I would recommend her to everyone! We need more healthcare workers like her.
