About Katherine Minor, PA-C

Katie is an energetic and dedicated Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Zaher Akkad to assure personalized care for every patient. She provides patients with understandable information regarding procedures, medications, lifestyle management and other cardiac-related issues. Katie is an Arizona Native and received her undergraduate degree at ASU, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then graduated from Stony Brook University with her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She fell in love with medicine at a very young age and always knew she wanted to work in the medical field. Katie has been a practicing PA since 2009 and is extremely enthusiastic about her patients. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, hiking, yoga, and riding her Peloton.
