I have never loved going to the doctor until I went to The Howard Center in Covington, GA. The ambience makes you feel like you’re at the spa. Katherine Carew, FNP, is an experienced women’s health provider who loves helping women of all ages feel and function at peak levels. She is also proud to be part of the team at The Howard Center for Women’s Health, which has locations throughout Georgia, including Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, and Waycross.
Katherine’s educational journey began at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing in Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing in New York City, New York.
Throughout her career, Katherine has held various roles as a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner.

Mrs. Katherine Carew is very nice and kind and very knowledgeable about what she is doing! She is a person that listens to your problems and answers to your questions! Also ask a lot questions about your health problems so she can give you the right answers. Mrs Katherine wants to make sure that you know you are at the right place and in good hands. She is very professional and friendly! I always feel welcome and safe every time I go to see her! Mrs Katherine does an amazing job!
The office is very welcoming (environment and staff). The doctor is very through and professional. I have visited a few times now and have had a good visit each time.
