Katharine (Kate) Broyles is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, she has worked in various healthcare settings, including hospice, postpartum care, newborn nursery, and patient education. In 2013, Kate earned her Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and since then, she has worked in Primary Care, treating patients of all ages with diverse health concerns and conditions.
Her experience in family practice highlighted the significant issue of underdiagnosed and undertreated mental health conditions. Kate recognizes that mental health is foundational to overall well-being, and without access to high-quality mental health care, achieving overall health is impossible.
Kate is excited to be part of the team at Axis Integrative Mental Health, known for their unique and innovative approach to mental health care. She believes that improving a patient's mental health enhances their life, the lives of their families, and strengthens communities. Kate is proud to contribute to this impactful team.
At Axis Integrative Mental Health, Kate works at both the Louisville and Westminster offices as a Spravato supervisor and as a valued member of our Assessment and Referral Department conducting new patient assessments.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband and two children. She loves camping, paddleboarding, and biking. Additionally, she is passionate about all forms of movement and fitness as expressions of healing, particularly dance, Pilates, and yoga.
