It was a long wait from the day I made my appointment to the appointment. However the appointment went great. I arrived early, completed paperwork, and was taken back to a room very quickly. Katelyn was thorough and treated one Show morespot on my face. She also checked a sore on my nose and prescribed a medication to see if it helps. I did forget to ask a couple of questions but I can always call their office and have those questions answered easily. Overall my appointment went well and I sm pleased with this experience. I will return next year for another full body check. .
Mrs. Wade always demonstrates genuine concern, explains all procedures and listens and includes me in all decisions. Katelyn Wade, PA-C, RD, is a certified physician assistant at Idaho Skin Surgery Center, practicing out of our Boise, Idaho location. She is a Boise native who joined the practice in 2022. She is committed to providing exceptional dermatological services to men and women throughout Treasure Valley.
Katelyn completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Idaho and attended PA school at Idaho State University. She is a board-certified PA as well as a Registered Dietitian. She developed a love for dermatology and has a strong interest in skin cancer screening and prevention, patient education, and managing chronic skin conditions.
During her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband, dog, friends, and family. She enjoys living an active lifestyle that includes hiking, skiing, golfing, and mountain biking.

Full body skin exam
Mrs Wade was pleasant and interested in my problem of incessant itching. She prescribed a steroid cream that has too many problems for me to use it. I suggested she give me a shot to let me get some rest and she agreed. The itching has subsided somewhat but is not totally gone.
Very nice, easy to talk to about any concerns. Yes i woud recommended her.
I went in for skin cancer removal and all who felt with me were awesome. They were friendly, caring and very professional. I will recommend Idaho Skin Surgery Center to everyone.
