I attend the psychiatric Congress each year to learn the most recent developments. I am especially interested in patients with substance use disorders, schizophrenic spectrum disorders, bipolar disorders, LGBTQ care, and PTSD- ages 10-100. I have 6 years' experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at University of Texas at Austin. For 5 years I worked at the busiest clinic at the Center for Healthcare Services and at a busy in-patient acute care facility.

Our visits with Karen Inzurriaga have been probably more valuable to me as the mom of a 18 year old troubled young man. Karen is a very direct person, she does not sugar coat what she says. I personally love this approach. There is no time to play around with mental issues. And at this age they are strong willed and think they know it all. I Love my son and want the best help and direction for him. We are not where we want him to be but I thank Karen for being a Great provider.
