Dr Momi took the time to go over everything, multiple times, so I completely understood what was going on and the next steps. He is being very thorough with the care I need. So far I’m in week 3 post ACDF I feel mush relief on my spine the pressure and tightness isn’t there as before and I’m feeling really great about the recovery of this surgery! Thank you again!!
Kam Momi, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Coastal Spine, with offices in Mount Laurel, Sewell, Galloway, Wall Township, and Vineland New Jersey. His focus is exclusively on the neck and spine.
After earning his bachelor’s at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Momi completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His post-graduate internship brought him to Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, followed by a residency in orthopedics at New Jersey Medical School, now operated by Rutgers University. Finally, he completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the prestigious New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Momi is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He has lectured on spine and neck surgery at various international meetings, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School (now Rutgers), the New Jersey State Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Meeting, and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Hospital.
Dr. Momi headed the spine section at Virtua Hospital, part of Virtua Health, from 2011 to 2016. He is currently the chief of the Section of Spine Surgery for Jefferson South Jersey Hospitals.
