Excellent! She made me feel very welcome, you could tell she knew her stuff, they are lucky to have her, we addressed everything that I felt needed to be, and she asked questions that I hadn’t even really thought of because I’m veShow morery into my body! Absolutely I would recommend this practice! Dr. Jeffrey Mathews is the very reason that I came back to practice! I couldn’t use this practice because of my insurance for 12 years. His care sustained me until I got back there. Wonderful Man ! and Cheryl Cheri was the first nurse practitioner that I had ever seen and from then on I trusted them. If I’m gonna spend the money, I want to see the doctor!

Kaitlin Schild, AGNP, is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner at Gateway Gastroenterology, a gastroenterology and hepatology practice in Chestfield, Missouri. She is committed to providing exceptional care to patients living in and around Saint Louis County.
Kaitlin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Missouri – Columbia and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Maryville University in Saint Louis. She became board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2017. She spent five years working as a registered nurse in a surgical unit at Saint Luke’s Hospital.
She feels the most rewarding aspect of her job is getting to know her patients personally and seeing how she positively impacts their lives. In her free time outside of the office, she enjoys any kind of outdoor activity and playing with her puppy, Stanley.

I drove 2 hours to asked about 10 questions about how I was & change of med I no longer I take. Sarah was pleasant enough.
Mrs Schild was asked a lot of questions, listened intently, and was very personable. I never thought the milk could cause a problem but after just a few days, eliminating it seems to be working. I will continue with no lactose for 2 weeks and report to her.

Very professional and thorough
Sarah was thorough and knowledgeable although at the end, I felt rushed when I had questions. I realize it is a busy office and I get it however it would be nice to not be cut off when talking. Tamera, who scheduled my appointment for testing at St. Luke’s Hospital was amazing. Very kind and had a lot of information to my questions. Also, the phlebotomist whose name I did not get was fantastic and was able to get my blood drawn on the first try without pain!
Ms. Schild was very receptive and listened to all my concerns. My diet and history of health were taken seriously and addressed.
The consultation went very well and she made recommendations to deal with my digestive concerns. I’m now following the regimen she recommended along with an increase in fiber intake and suggested foods high in fiber.
