About Dr. Beras Matos
Julio Manuel Beras Matos, MD, is a highly qualified physician and rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas.
He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
Dr. Beras Matos attended The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic (the oldest institution of higher education in the New World- since 1538), where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree, “Cum Laude”.
He completed the Internal Medicine Residence at Danbury Hospital-affiliated to Yale University, in Connecticut. Dr. Beras Matos finished his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSCSA) in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Arthritis Associates, Dr. Beras Matos had been providing Rheumatology Services (outpatient care), in the city of San Antonio for many years.
He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the Texas Medical Association, and the State of Texas Association of Rheumatologists.
Dr. Beras Matos is fluent in Spanish, and also speaks French and Portuguese.

Visit is a 10, my doctor is very knowledgeable and professional. He is always on top of your medications and symptoms. Would not trade him for any other doctor. My Super Hero!!!

I am giving a four only because yesterday when I was there everything was chaotic with the office staff. The receptionist stated that I didn't gave an appointment, no apology and rude the plebotimist forgot to take blood as requested by doctor so was poked 2x also no apologies and rude. In all the years I have been going there this day was bad. I went in at 10:15am did not get out til 12:30pm.
He is a great doctor. He listens to what you feel is going on with your body. Sometimes he recommends vitamin supplements for which helps with your symptoms. He goes over your blood work so you can understand what's going on. I will miss him for he's one of the few doctors that care.
Dr molina has always been thorough, attentive, and compassionate and caring. Hate to see him retire

Dr. Molina is an excellent and very knowledgeable physician. He really cares and listens to his patients. He has been my doctor for over 20 years and I’m very fortunate to have entrusted him with my health.
Dr. Molina very responsive, takes time to meet and discuss .. never rushed Nurses also quick to respond to voicemail w/in same day. Highly recommend practice

Dr. Molina is a very knowledgeable doctor. I’ve seen him for a few years now. He has always provided the utmost care and attention. Dr.Molina has gone above and beyond to address any of my questions or concerns. His staff is very friendly as well. I couldn’t say one bad thing about this office.
