Juan Alfonso graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. He is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Juan’s Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) clinical specialty training is in family medicine and pain management. Juan has multiple years of experience in pain management and urgent care. His specialty training is augmented by his experience as a registered nurse in emergency medicine and service as a flight nurse. Juan has provided emergency care as a trauma nurse core course (TNCC) and stroke certified nurse to pediatric and adult patients in various local hospital emergency departments as well as emergency transportation via fixed wing air ambulance.
